PK Hummingbird Steel Orchestra has been providing free steelpan lessons to families in the Niagara region since 1998. The band was founded by Patrick Nunes and Kay Charles as a way to share the music of Trinidad and Tobago with a diverse audience while keeping young people engaged in the culture and community. Members participate in regional events through performances and workshops, and the band is a favourite at local parades and festivals.
PK Hummingbird looks forward to many more years of bringing sweet soca music to you! You can also find them on Facebook and Instagram @pkhbofficial.
